BRIEF HISTORY
Allah Valley Medical Specialist Center, Inc. (AVMSCI) is a stock corporation formed and registered with SEC in May 14, 1997 by a group of doctors and businessmen in South Cotabato. In 1998, AVMSCI operated Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and Family Planning Center – formerly known as Rama Hospital and Family Planning Center.
In September 28, 2004 the corporation started to operate Allah Valley Medical Specialists Center, Inc. (AVMSCI) Hospital at its present site along Gensan Drive, Koronadal City. It became the first Tertiary Hospital in the Upper Valley with DOH and PHIC accreditation for 100-bed capacity.
Allah Valley Medical Specialists' Center, Inc. occupies a total land area of 40,004 square meters, with approximately 18,000 square meters currently developed and utilized. The entire property is fully enclosed and secured by a perimeter fence to ensure safety and privacy within the hospital premises.
The hospital’s Medical Facilities and Special Units include the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with seven beds, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Operating Room (OR), Delivery Room (DR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), tertiary-level complete laboratory services, drug testing, blood banking, pharmacy, central supply room, dietary department, outpatient clinics, recovery room, emergency room, pulmonary area, and heart station.
In addition, the hospital offers a wide range of Out-Patient Services such as Chemotherapy, Clubfoot Management, Dental Services, Yakap Konsulta, OECB, Hemodialysis, HIV Care Hub, HMO Transactions, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Wound Care services.
Diagnostic and specialized procedures performed at AVMSCI include Annual Physical Examinations and Executive Check-Ups, blood pressure monitoring, mammography, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, radiologic diagnostic services including CT Scan, traction procedures, 2D Echo examinations, and arterial blood gas analysis.
To further support emergency response and patient transport needs, a fully equipped ambulance is stationed within the hospital premises and is readily available for emergency situations.
